Jaguar is a premium-segment automobile manufacturer owned by the Jaguar Land Rover subsidiary of the Indian Tata Motors. In 1922, William Lyons founded the Swallow Sidecar Company in Blackpool with William Walmsley and initially manufactured motorcycle sidecars. The company later developed comparably inexpensive sports sedans. At the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show, Jaguar presented its first purely electric model, the Jaguar I-Pace concept car.
