In 2019, presenter Joko Winterscheidt and cycling expert Andy Weinzierl founded Sushi Bikes with the aim of offering sustainable and affordable mobility. Just one year later, the first sushis were on the streets. Since 2022, Sushi Bikes has been the first e-bike brand to become a member of the Fair Cobalt Alliance, whose aim is to increase influence on cobalt extraction and support fair working conditions along the entire supply chain.
